This video looks at how to control Microsoft Word by writing code in Excel. You’ll learn how to reference the Word Object Library, several methods for creating a new instance of the Word application, how to create new documents and how to copy data from Excel into Word. You’ll also learn the importance of testing for which version of Word your users are running and how to write version-independent code that will work with (almost) any version of Word.
